Enrichment Opportunities Institute of Training, Inc., ("EOIT") offers a full range of training courses integrated in a nurturing and structured environment to produce highly skilled and competent candidates for the workforce. EOIT takes a holistic approach to training by looking at the whole individual rather than solely concentrating on the technical skills necessary to accomplish the job. EOIT recognizes that a gap exists in the skill levels of the pool of candidates entering the workforce and the skill sets required by industry for entry-level workers. EOIT seeks to fill that gap by providing highly motivated individuals with the mentoring and training required to not only fill the entry-level positions available, but also to set these individuals on career paths that will take them beyond entry-level. Half day instruction is given in Microsoft Business Applications, Keyboarding, Data Entry, E-mail accounts, on-line job search skills and Internet research. Clerical and academic instruction includes "Your Attitude Counts" (professional and personal development), English/grammar, Business Mathematics, The Ten Universal Rules of Filing, receptionist, telephone techniques and customer servicing. EOIT specializes in servicing dislocated workers, individuals with disabilities, at-risk youth, individuals transitioning from unemployment to work and those who would like to advance in their current career. It is not our job, it's our passion! EOIT is a service provider of Vocational Assessment for the Department of Workforce Development through it's Preferred Provider Registry.
